Born in 1962, Mr. Zheng Changbo received a Master's degree from Research Institute of Petroleum Processing and an MBA degree from School of Business Administration, South China University of Technology. He has years of experience in petroleum processing, petrochemical industry and enterprise management. Mr. Zheng previously held a number of positions in SINOPEC Guangzhou Petrochemical Complex, including Deputy Chief Engineer and Deputy Factory Director of Refinery, Director of the Technology Department and Deputy Factory Director of SINOPEC Guangzhou Petrochemical Complex. In 2000, he was appointed as General Manager of SINOPEC Guangzhou Company. In December 2001, he became the Deputy Director of Refining Department of SINOPEC Corp. Since February 2003, Mr. Zheng has been an Assistant President of CNOOC. In 2005, he was appointed the General Manager of CNOOC Oil & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. In 2007, he was appointed as Chairman and General Manager of CNOOC New Energy Investment Co., Ltd.
