At 8:00 on January 21, Jinzhou 9-3 oilfield began another crude oil transmission operation.
Since the end of 2009, Bohai Bay has confronted the worst sea ice in three decades. Affected by the cold weather, Jinzhou 9-3 oilfield at the northernmost Bohai Bay experienced a 4-day delay in transmission of crude oil and nearly approached its maximum storage capacity. Under the cooperated efforts of the oilfield, the oil tanker and the icebreaker, the oil tanker safely berthed for oil transmission and ensured the oilfield production safety.
